Patrol Company / Army Operational Command (Denmark)

The Patrol Company / Army Operational Command Denmark (PTLCOY/AOC) is the only long range surveillance company (LRSC) in the Danish Home Guard (Hjemmeværnet). As one of two LRSC available to the AOC the overall task of PTLCOY/AOC is to provide military tactical intelligence for the Army Operational Command Denmark (HOK). 

The Patrol Coy is organized by the Danish Home Guard as an all volunteer (V) unit. Members of the staff may be Army Reserve Officers. The PTLCOY/AOC is the only LRS-unit in the Danish Home Guard Local Defence force of 3000. Training takes place at Danish Defence Schools, The Home Guard School, Special Training Centres, and international special training schools. Cross-training is conducted with regular units of the Danish Army and Home Guard, Danish and international Special Operations Forces and LRS-units.
